Crysis 3 Trailer Revealed

The new Crysis 3 trailer, offers a small yet definitive glimpse into the new Crysis world. With explosions and slow motions ruling most of the trailer, everything seems to be made epic and breathtaking.

The most striking aspect of the trailer seems the post apocalyptic New York City drenched into a jungle. The Crysis 3 website offers,”New York City has been contained in a giant nanodome and grown into a unique rainforest with seven distinct environments.”

Crysis 2 was a game that I did not hang on to much. It was a good solid FPS but it lacked the oomph factor of the original Crysis which is a classic. Looking at that very same scenario, it is quite obvious that hype is a double edged sword. There was a lot of hype surrounding Crysis 2 and even though the game was good it fell well short everyone's expectation and really did not achieve a status as high as Crysis.

The cryENGINE 3 will again be a solid engine, which is evident from the visuals from the trailer. The gameplay is looking similar to Crysis 2 and may have certain upgrades rather than improvements.

I am not too excited about this game and I am going to keep my expectations from it in check. Let's be rational and be the judge of it on an unbiased platform.
